Assalamualaikum my friends
It was 31st August again. It had been 52 years since our country achieved independence. Alhamdulillah.

This is a statement quoted by one of the most honourable leaders of all time, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. he is truely right. The independence that we are experiencing now, must be managed appropriately. Do you ever think, we as the post-independent children, must be thankful to the warriors and those who fights directly or indirectly towards independence. They are Dato' Onn Jaafar, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra, Tan Cheng Lok, V.T. Sambanthan. These are the people who unites us all and with the unity at that time, British agreed to give us the freedom.
Brothers and sisters,
The scenario nowadays is not as good as the time we are freshly free from the imperials. Now, people of Malaysia are fighting each other. Everyone claims that they are right and the side that oppose them are wrong. By the same time, this kind of attitude tears down our unity and harmony. How sad and how bad it is.
My friends,
Eventhough 'they' are quarrelling a neverending arguements, I hope that we are not influenced by them. This is not our battle. We, as the next generation must keep the living peacefully by respecting and understanding each other. Every problem has a solution. The best way to find the solution is to discuss and to negotiate in a harmonious environment.

Together, let us build this nation. We are the next generation. We are responsible for the fate of this country for the next 50 years to come.
The glory shall not fade. Collaboration from all of us are needed.
